Discover London's new indie artist
Growing up in Moscow in a family of music lovers, music was Nash’s guide to life, helping him interpret, define and view the world. In post-Soviet Russia, where rapid political and social changes produced a tense and aggressive atmosphere, Nash referred to music to cope with his emotional and sensitive nature. Nash listened to the likes of the Beatles and the White Stripes, and was massively influenced by their melodic sentiment and sound.
A move from Moscow to London inspired the talented singer/songwriter to take his first step in the music industry and embark on a career which allowed him to express what had always been a part of his soul yet had been denied for so long. His song-writing career was launched.
Nash recorded his debut EP She Don’t Know in 2016, working with friend and producer JB Pilon at the legendary RAK Studios backed by some of London’s most talented session musicians. Released in February 2017, She Don’t Know has a retro 60’s rock feel, brought up to date with sophisticated, upbeat guitar licks; it's an introduction to the desperate escape of a young man in music.
Nash’s resonant voice and bouncy guitar riffs have caught the attention of music press and received a great reception from radio, including BBC 6 Radio. Known for his catchy melodies and smart lyrics, each track is dynamic, powerful and lends itself to the live experience. Nash, with his signature playful indie style, uses music, along with past experiences, to speak about love and every dimension of it that he’s experienced.
2017 and 2018 saw Nash playing venues across London such as The George Tavern, The Dublin Castle, Proud Camden and 229 The Venue, and participating in 2018 Record Store Day at Les Aldrich Music.
Nash comes back in 2020 releasing new single Every Time.
